The Therapist Program is the natural follow-on for those who’ve completed the Level One training and feel eager to deepen their practice. This comprehensive 8 month journey offers the opportunity to becoming a certified Zenthai Shiatsu Therapist — It is a significant professional step into the field of somatics, bodywork and personal development.

 

Course delivery & summery

The program runs from April to October 2026 and is structured into five modules: two four-day intensives and three extended immersive modules of eight and seven days.

Each intensive module provides a focused exploration of structural and energetic bodywork, aligned with the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the 12 Threads of Zenthai Shiatsu. Sessions combine theory with hands-on practice, ensuring that concepts are directly applied and integrated.

The curriculum is organised into eight chapters, progressing from a Western anatomical and structural perspective to the energetic framework of Chinese medicine. This progression allows for an understanding of both the biomechanical and energetic dimensions of the body in a clear, systematic way. These perspectives are integrated through an emphasis on embodiment and the lived “dance” of the practice.

Graduates receive certification as Zenthai Shiatsu Therapists, empowering them to practice and share this transformative modality with confidence, integrity, and authenticity.

Students also receive two copies of Gwyn’s books, along with six months of free access to a comprehensive online library of techniques to support ongoing learning and integration.
