ZENTHAI SHIATSU

Level 1 Training in Sydney

“The art of touch”

4 day training in Sydney

March 10th - 13th 2024

This 5-day foundation training is a deep dive into Zenthai - a conversation beyond words and a crossroads between the healing arts of Thai yoga massage, Zen Shiatsu and Osteopathic technique; an integration of movement, touch and mindfulness. It explores the poetry within therapeutic touch, a lens into traditional Chinese medicine and is a great opportunity for self-healing in a retreat style teaching model.

In learning a full 90-minute sequence, you’ll be introduced to practical tools and gain valuable knowledge on structural and energetic therapy.  For the entire four days you’ll receive and practice technique, also cultivating inner awareness,  a  deepened sense of touch and enrichment of conscious community.

Who is this training for?

The Zenthai level 1 Training is for anyone who is curious about the healing arts and would like to explore a practice that moulds the intuitive wisdom and knowledge from different ancient healing traditions into a modern approach. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or just starting on your journey with bodywork, if you have a passion for holistic healing and a desire to enhance your therapeutic abilities, this training is for you.

It is for bodyworkers and movement enthusiasts, yoga students or yoga teachers who wish to expand their skillset and learn techniques that can help facilitate physical, emotional, and energetic healing in yourself and others.

*You do not need any previous experience in yoga or massage to join.

Swami’s yoga retreat

A simple oasis just 55 min away from the centre of Sydney, Swami’s yoga retreat is situated on 60 acres of tranquil bushland.

There are stunning bush-walks along the property and surroundings and the retreat offers a pool, spa and sauna to relax and rejuvenate in the evenings.

The retreat prepares homemade vegan/vegetarian meals and herbal tea to ensure you get the energy you need throughout the day. Let us know about any allergies so we can accomodate.

There are 2 options to stay on site. There are the double rooms - each with an on-suite bathroom and comfortable linen. There is also the option to stay in one of the glamping tents for a slightly lesser price (note that spaces for the glamping tents are limited).

A retreat is neither a vacation nor an escape - it is a total immersion into a new way of being. We realign ourselves with new pathways of thinking and moving, new patterns of waking and sleeping. On retreat, we are being invited into a rare opportunity for spaciousness - honouring the transformation that takes place.

  • "Natan’s workshop was an unforgettable experience. To unite a group of strangers in a world of deep connection, exploration and discovery takes a talented facilitator. Natan is that. His gentle manner combined with his knowledge of movement and the human body makes him one of the best I’ve encountered. The activities were challenging enough to generate the gratification of learning, while accessible enough to allow us all to achieve. The technique itself is beautiful. Such a graceful blend of modalities, through which release, trust and safety transform the whole nervous system and psyche. Natan brings the gift of the embodied self - something that’s so needed in today’s fast paced world."
